The Hermit Thrush and the Swainson's Thrush look alike at some
times.
Both are elusive birds with beautiful songs. You are lucky to see a
Hermit thrush at any time.
This Hermit Thrush visited my garden in the fall. Some Hermit
Thrushes stay in the United States in the winter, perhaps even some
in the Doug, but they do migrate south from most of their territory.
